During all the changes & challenges of this year, I’ve been so grateful to have a daily meditation practice. Meditating each morning has helped me stay sane, grounded, compassionate, and awake to our world without feeling overwhelmed by it.
In June, I decided to start leading an online meditation community on Monday nights. For one hour each week, we create a space to live more mindfully, breathe more deeply, and act more compassionately towards ourselves & others.
But I’ve been feeling the call to share this practice of mediation & its benefits in a more expanded, in-depth way.
Starting in September, I will begin leading a monthly virtual meditation retreat on Saturday mornings. These three-hour experiences will take place on Zoom & will last from 9 am - 12 noon (EST). I’m calling them Morning Meditation Retreats… the perfect way to wake up & start your day with mindfulness.
The first Morning Meditation Retreat will take place on Saturday, September 26th.
The theme for this first retreat will be “This One Breath.” Together, we will explore a variety of breathing practices to help us live more deeply in the present moment & connect more fully to body, mind, and spirit. There will be a balance of both guided & silent meditation throughout the morning. Alongside the meditation & breath practices, there will be periods of reflection, journaling, conversation, and intention-setting.
