On The Last Full Moon of 2020

On the last full moon of 2020, I decided to light a fire.

Into that fire I threw in dry, old wood I had been holding onto.

Into that fire I threw in dry, old fears I had been holding onto.

Old doubts I had been holding onto.

Old wounds I had been holding onto.

I threw in all the disappointments and defeats from this year.

All the things that went wrong, all the hopes that were dashed.

All of it went into the fire.

And under the light of the moon, I watched it burn.

And under the light of the moon, I spoke my vision for 2021.

I spoke my vision, for all the trees and mountains and stars to hear, of the man I am becoming and the kingdom I am building.

I spoke of my soul’s purpose in the year to come, of how I will create a more sacred world by following my soul path and helping others follow theirs.

I spoke of how I will serve in the year to come, how I will be a soul path guide for all those embarking on the hero’s journey of self-discovery.

I spoke of the abundance I will know in the year to come, how my kingdom will prosper and the generosity I can offer from that prosperity.

I spoke of the relationships I will be blessed to have, from family and friends, to peers and fellow travelers on the spiritual journey, to my Queen who I am preparing a place for in my kingdom.

In the light of the fire & the moon, I spoke all these things & know them to be true.

I do not claim to know all that 2021 will hold and the external events that will shape our lives, for good or for ill.

But I know who I am and the soul path I choose to walk in the year to come.

So, at the end of one year and the beginning of another, I invite you to say aloud who you are and the soul path you are walking.

Say aloud, for all the trees and mountains and stars to hear, who you are becoming and the life you are building.

Speak it from your heart, from your soul, from your bones.

And know it to be true.

May you be blessed in your journey into 2021.

Happy New Year, my friends & fellow travelers.

It’s an honor to walk with this path with you.
