The Naked Truth

“A life truly lived constantly burns away veils of illusion, burns away what is no longer relevant, gradually reveals our essence, until, at last, we are strong enough to stand in our naked truth.” - Marion Woodman

Everything good in life is rooted in truth.

There is nothing to truly fear about the truth. It is living a lie that should scare the hell out of you.

Some say the truth hurts, but truth is in fact the great healer.

Yes, truth often REVEALS pain… which is why the revelation of a truth can cause an initial hurt… but truth is never responsible for any pain.

The truth shows us where the pain is so that it can be healed.

Whatever we lie about, whatever we hide, whatever we keep in the shadows, behind closed doors, will never ever be healed.

Bring everything out into the light, live in the light, be the light.. and the healing can begin.

Truth never takes from us anything that is real, only what is illusion.

If telling the truth, if living in the truth costs you something - a relationship, a job, a family dynamic - then what you lost was only held together by falsehood, by fantasy, by lies.

If truth costs you something, no matter how precious it seems, it was not truly meant for you.

If you choose to turn away from your truth, the lie will actually be what takes everything from you, because all lies demand sacrifice, demand you give over your soul to the lie.

When you stand in truth, all you lose are the illusions.

When you stand in your truth, you gain the most precious thing of all… your soul, your true self.

That is more valuable that anything a lie can buy.
